1st day : Arrival in Muscat :
Arrival at Muscat international airport.

2nd day : Muscat / Wadi Shab / Sur
Breakfast and departure to Daiqa canyon with its pools of cristal clear waters : we shall walk through the palm trees and the canyons to choose a waterfall to cool down. Proceed to the Sinkhole and Proceed to Wadi Shab, Wadi Tiwi, Qalhat (small fort with a lighthouse built in 1635) and Sur. Many little villages along the way and plenty of nice little creeks.
Dinner at Ras el Hadd, where the turtles come ashore to nest and lay their 200 eggs, between sunset and dawn (october to may). (B.L.D)

3rd day : Sour / Wadi Bani Khalid / Wahiba Sands
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour of Sur and leisurely walk in its narrow ancient streets. Visit of a shipyard and to the fish market. Then it’s on to the breathtaking beautiful Wadi Bani Khalid, a region surrounded by palm trees and its tropical fruit tree plantations for a picnic lunch and a swim in its refreshing and relaxing springs. One hour trekking optional.
Our next stop is a stark contrast ; you’ll be awestruck by the sweeping dunes of Wahiba Sands and the welcome of the Bedouin tribes. At the close of a long day, a ride in the dunes and a fabulous sunset, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner, under the starry skies.

4th day : Wahiba Sands / Nizwa
After breakfast, two hour trek on camels and a visit to a Bedouin village, to see their lifestyle and possibly buy their handicraft. Lunch at a local restaurant and departure for a guided tour of the town of Nizwa, most visited site in Oman
Dinner and overnight in the hotel. (B.L.D)

5th day : Nizwa / Jabal Al Akhdar
After breakfast at the hotel, departure in the early morning to Djebel Shams and the village of Tanauf. Visit of Wadi Auf and picnic Lunch. In the afternoon visit to Misfat El Abreen and return to Nizwa. (B.L.D)

6th day : Nizwa / Rustaq / Nakhal / Muscat
After breakfast, we leave for Rustam via Al Hamra, we journey into the interior, with a wonderful treck on a winding track down through the mountains, to enjoy a breathtaking view of isolated village, 1,000, meters below. Picnic lunch and from there we proceed to Nakhl, famous for its hot water springs, where we can refresh in a pool of water. Visit of the famous fort and return to Muscat. (B.L.D)

7th day : Muscat
In the morning a half day guided tour of Muscat, living example of a nice blend of ancient traditions and modern times. We shall begin with The Grand Mosque, the largest and most modern in the country, with its Persian carpet (70m x 60m). and the fishmonger market near the old Mattrah souk, nice place to oberve the lifestyle of true Omanis with their handicraft on show. We shall then drive past Al Bustan Palace, where yearly Gulf states conferences are held. Spendid blend of the Omanis architectural heritage, with the Arabir world. Along the beautiful corniche road, we shall stop by the spectacular Al Alam Palace, for photos .
Free afternoon and overnight at Hotel. (B.L.D)

8th day : Muscat / Salalah
In the morning, discover the Ruwi-Ghala district, on the foothill of the eastern Hadjar. Then the National museum with its two important sections : the building method of its forts and dows, plus its maritime heritage.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Transfer to the airport and flight to the Dhofar region in the deep south of the country. You will overfly the sand dunes. Transfer to the Hotel, for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

9th day : Salalah
In the morning scenic drive to the fishermen’s village of Mirbat, with its white houses in contrast with the blue of its mosque. Visit of the fort, before lunch. Then visit of the ruins of Soumhouram, ancient port that specialized in the incense trade in the bay of Khor Raouri. Retun to Salalah via djebel Samhan. Stop by Tawi Atayr hole, in the Khor Salalah reserve or at Taqah, for birdwatching. Return to the Hotel for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

10th day : Salalah
Breakfast and visit of the old city of Salalah, with its coral built abandoned houses, the ruins of the ancient city of Al-Balid, the sultan palace and the mosque. Lunch in local restaurant, visit to the gold and incense souk. Lunch in town. Dinner and overnight in the hotel. (B.L.D)

11th day : Salalah / Muscat
Breakfast and flight back to Muscat. (B)
